Hello, I'm Aleks!
I am a Technical Writer and Machine Learning Engineer. My main areas of focus include data analysis, cleaning and processing, model development and testing, and data visualization.
Mathematics, probability theory, and graph theory have been part of my life since childhood. I was always drawn to solving complex logical and mathematical problems—no one had to convince me to pick up a book full of challenging exercises. My mind has always been eager to process large amounts of information and find solutions.
Over time, I realized that mathematics was what I wanted to pursue. Fortunately, we live in an era where mathematics is deeply intertwined with computer science, giving rise to new disciplines and professions that didn’t exist before. Data science is one of them, combining everything I enjoy: mathematics, structured thinking, working with data, building models, and analytics.
My combined background in mathematics and philology naturally led me toward Natural Language Processing (NLP) and computational linguistics.
I enjoy working with information of all kinds—not just formulas and datasets. I read extensively, and history, literature, and languages fascinate me as much as data science. Alongside my data science expertise, I hold a bachelor’s degree in philology, which helps me write articles, create documentation, and produce accurate translations. This background enables me to communicate technical subjects clearly, whether about machine and deep learning, software, algorithms, or areas of mathematics such as probability theory, statistics, combinatorics, and cryptography. I am also familiar with the processes involved in the Software Development Life Cycle, which I often explore in my blog.
I speak English, Polish and Russian.
